SERIES RULES (Please read and understand all rules and regulations outlined and noted in this flyer, as well as those posted and announced at arena):

 

This is a four (4) week series.  If any dates are cancelled for any reason, we will reschedule based on the next available date at Facility.  You must attend 2 of 4 to be eligible for awards.

        

There is NO NOMINATION FEE.

 

POINTS based on rider, not horse.  Awards will be determined on the following point system

1st  Place - 6 Points                        

2nd Place - 5 Points           

3rd  Place - 4 Points

4th Place - 3 Points

5th Place - 2 Points

6th Place - 1 Point



If a rider places more than once in any "D", only the highest point-earning run will be counted for that particular "D".  If placing in different "D", you can claim points for that D too.  Basically, no more than one run can count per jackpot in any one "D":

   Example:                              1D      2D      3D      4D      5D

   John Doe Riding 6 Horses    1st       -         3rd      2nd      6th

                                                       3rd                 5th    

                                                       (The lower row placings will not count)


Should a rider win more than one award in any one class, they will keep their highest designated award.   The forfeited prize will be awarded to the next eligible point earner in that particular D.  A Beginner is only eligible for Beginner Awards.  A Junior Open participant can win something in the Junior and Open (if they enter in both classes). 

 

EXHIBITIONS We will run as many as possible before jackpot, but will switch to the jackpot at the advertised time.  We will also run after jackpot as well.  We will do our best to start exhibitions on time.  1st Come/1st Serve.

 

BEGINNERS is for 14 & Under (ponies, trotters & Lopers…cannot enter in other classes other than exhibition).  Entries will be allowed to stay in Beginners throughout the series, but if they run a time equivalent to placing in the Open 5D twice, they will graduate to Jr Open/Open when the series is over.  Ability based on rider not the horse.  Beginner is a 5D is based on full second splits.

 GENERAL RULES

 Once you cross the start line (timer) you accept the arena conditions as is until your run is complete.   

Reruns will be at the discretion of the management. 

 

Items not addressed in this information will be governed by BBR rules and at management discretion.
